Penang did me really good with the sleep I managed to get on Monday night. But now it’s back to the sleepless-nights cycle in KL, although I must say that it has truly been a productive week at work. *smile* Now I’m wondering whether there’s such a thing as a sleep bank where you can accumulate and save all the sleep hours you can get for rainy days like these. *laugh* Wouldn’t that be something?! Haha.
Anyways, the typical day (in answer to some of your questions) for me would be a kickstart at work with my first business meeting at 9am or sometimes 8.30am and like in the case of yesterday, I had a short 10.30am – 12.30pm shoot with URTV at Menara KL followed by a 1 – 2.30pm, 3 – 4.30pm, 5 – 6.30pm, 7 – 9pm and 10.30pm – 12 midnight string of meetings and discussions.
with the sweet Mastura of URTV *smile*
It’s not the meetings that tire me out but the follow ups from those meetings that I also have to look into which can be quite draining at times. Plus since I get to go home after midnight on a normal day, that also means that by the time I shower and get started on my paperwork and work emails, it’s already past 1 – 2am. I usually get to update the blog after 3 or 4am once the daily work matters are looked into.
meeting with Rebecca and Josh of Advertlets over dinner. hehe
On other days where I don’t have night meetings, I slot in studio sessions for the album music, which makes my day really long but fun! *smile* I guess weekends for me are the best to work on, where I don’t get bugged by work calls and SMS’ as much, giving me more space to breathe at work. *laugh* I love working on weekends!!! *smile*
Another long day and am writing this while waiting for my 1.30am mixing session to commence. It was great speaking to some of you at the Living Room chatroom during FAMILY HOUR earlier. Thanks for making my day guys! *smile* Love and miss the rest of you lots! Mwah~
